Procedure documentation Creating Follow-Up Actions Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Use

A follow-up action is a document other than a sales activity, for example, a service notification or standard order, which you create with reference to the sales activity. The follow-up action is created using workflow functions and several standard workflows have been linked to this screen.

NoteYou can also define your own workflow for other follow-up actions by making the appropriate settings in Customizing for Sales and Distribution under Basic Functions ® Follow-up Actions.

Prerequisites

You must be in the Create sales activity screen.

Procedure

  1. In the Follow-up actions section of the screen, choose an action from the drop-down menu and choose Start.
  2. This starts one of the workflows and the system displays the relevant screen where you can enter data as required.
  3. When you save the data, you return to the Create sales activity screen.
  4. To display the document again, choose Link objects.

Note You can also use the Link objects button to link the sales activity to any other business objects, for example, another sales document, an external document or even an Internet website.
