Relationship

Job Posting

A publication is always assigned to a specific job posting.

Application

An application refers to the publication to which the candidate applied. Several applications can refer to a publication.

Additional note: There is a relationship between the application and a publication with the global key of the publication. The global key for the publication that a candidate has applied for (infotype Posting Instance (5122)), is stored in the infotype Application Information (5132) for the application.

The data for a publication is defined in the following infotype:

·        Posting Instance (Infotype 5122)

Example

A publication for a job posting contains the following information:

·        Posting channel: Online job board ABC

·        Reference code: 4711

·        Start date: 03/01/2002

·        End date: 05/31/2002

·        Language: German

When you set the status to released, the job posting is published in German in the online job board ABC for the specified period. Candidates can apply for the employment opportunity under the reference code 4711.
