Purpose
Advertising is used to publicize your company’s workforce requirements.
Its aim is to elicit applications to vacancies in your company.The advertising process describes all the activities performed in connection with advertising vacancies. In addition, you carry out activities in the system that relate to selecting recruitment instruments and storing advertisements in the system. In this system, you record the advertisements for the vacancies that you have publicized or those you want to publicize. You can also maintain the vacancy assignments for advertisements and store the advertisement texts and the publication costs in the system.
Recording advertisements therefore allows you to manage your company’s advertisements. You can use the data you collect on advertisements as a basis for evaluating your advertising strategy.
Prerequisites
Recruitment instruments are available in Customizing for Recruitment.
If you want to assign an advertisement to a vacancy, this vacancy must already have been created and stored in the system. However, it is possible to simply create advertisements and not necessarily link them to vacancies. It is advisable, nevertheless, to assign advertisements to vacancies because, in general, advertisements refer to specific vacancies.
Process Flow
You can use this data for evaluation purposes at a later stage e.g. if you want to evaluate the effectiveness of recruitment instruments or the number of applications received in response to an advertisement.
If you enter the costs, you can use them for evaluating your advertising costs at a later stage.
