Access protection enables you to determine that a personnel officer or line manager is only able to display the data on an application that is relevant to his or her own sphere of responsibility.

Access protection for applicant data can either be set according to the employee's duties, or according to his or her organizational assignment.

Task-oriented access protection is used, for example, if a personnel officer or line manager is only allowed to enter data on an applicant but not to play a decision-making role in the selection process.

Access protection based on organizational assignment is used, for example, if a personnel officer or line manager is authorized to look at applicant data for a specific personnel area only.
