Payroll menu 

In the screen SAP Easy Access select Human Resources -> Payroll -> Europe -> Italy.

Outcome

The structure Payroll – Italy, which is the initial screen of the PY-IT component, is displayed. From here several activities can be retrieved, e.g. those typically based on the actual payroll (see below).

Structure

The menu is made up of 6 nodes:

●     Preliminary activities -> activities to be carried out before the payroll, since they contain data which the payroll must consider, e.g. pay scale jumps due to age.

●     Payroll -> activities directly connected to the payroll (simulation, release for payroll, correction, etc.), as well as those for the subsequent data transfer (coupon, bank transfers);

●     Next activities -> activities which occur at the end of the payroll. These activities are split according to the period in which they must be carried out:

For payroll period	activities to be carried out on a monthly basis
Yearly	activities to be carried out once a year
Not dependent on the period	activities to be carried out in any period

●     Information system -> activities which are necessary for generating different reports with selection options:

       1.      for employee, e.g. posting document, bonuses and deductions;

       2.      for organizational unit, e.g. payroll journal;

       3.      for payroll wage types, e.g. certification of payroll wage types;

       4.      for paydays, e.g. paydays calendar.

Example

The payroll has been successfully carried out, and the user wants to print the coupon related to the processed period. Select Payroll -> Remuneration statement.
