Process documentation Digital Signatures Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Purpose

This chapter describes the steps you have to go through to install a digital certificate successfully.

Prior to creating digital signatures by means of the reports Dimona download file (RPUDISB0) and Generate Digital signature (RPUDMSB0) you must install a digital certificate issued by a certification authority.

Prerequisites

You must have applied for a digital certificate.

Process Flow

·        Replace the SAP Security Library (SAPSECULIB) with SAP Cryptographic Library (SAPCYPTOLIB).

·        Purchase a digital certificate.

·        Install the digital certificate.

·        Customize the Set Application Parameters (SSF) tables.
