Total Commitment
Business object which, as a framework, allows you to display objects linked to the business partner, such as accounts and contracts, with a restricted amount of master data and flow data.
You use the Total Commitment framework in order to display a brief and clear compilation of all the contracts/accounts for one or more business partners that exist in a relationship with one another within the Business Partner.
The Total Commitment function is conceived for employees working in the operational business area of a bank, who would like to gain an overview of the business partner’s contracts and customer relationships, such as:
· The front office employee or call center agent, who would like to see what products the customer uses before offering that customer financial advice
· The back office employee or account manager, who would like to gain an overview of the account balances
You can configure Total Commitment flexibly in accordance with your requirements, and enhance it with your own fields.
The structure definition of Total Commitment is divided into attributes, methods, and customer enhancements.
In the standard system, Total Commitment is divided into the following data groups:
· Header information
Each total commitment has header information that is shown when the total commitment is displayed, and provides identifying information. This includes business partners displayed in the total commitment, for example, with addresses, dates of birth, information on business partner relationships, possible participating interests, and so on.
· Contract information
Contract information is made available by the applications connected to Total Commitment, and provides information about contracts concluded with the business partner, and accounts. The contract data can be displayed with different levels of detail, and contains information on contract and product numbers, contract terms, account balances, cards, limits, locks, and so on. You can choose a target currency to display the total commitment.
You can form totals in Total Commitment using the contract amount, account balance, and account or card limit.
