In the trading contract, you can add textural information such as sales note or additional explanation. Text control is available at both header and item level in the trading contract. With the text determination procedure, you determine which kind of text types can be used in specific contract types.

You must assign a text procedure to a contract type in Customizing. Otherwise, the text view cannot be displayed via the contract maintenance screen.

Available text types are shown in the left side of the screen. After selecting one text type, the text field is shown in the right side of screen.

You can enter any text in the text fields or you can maintain the text in master data so that the text can be determined in the trading contract from the master data.
