Entering the Waste Origin
To
uniquely define the origin of a waste, it is frequently important to
specify, along with the waste generator, the product or
batch from which
the waste was produced. You can therefore specify the original
material and original batch in each entry document, in other words the material or the
batch from which the waste was produced, for example as a result of production
errors. You can also specify the external document that was
issued for the original material, for example the number of the delivery note
supplied by the vendor of the original material or the number of a production
document.

The data that you enter on the origin of the waste is only used for information purposes and not in functions.
For each entry document, you can display the follow-on documents, in other words the documents in the SAP System (for example, additional entry documents, material documents, and so on), that were created from the entry document. This means that you can track the whereabouts of a waste.
You have executed the procedure Editing Entry Documents and are on the Disposal Processing Create or Disposal Processing Change screen.
