Providing Detail Planning for Line
Managers
This function enables you to provide line managers with access to detail planning. To do this, you must make the Business Server Page (BSP) Detail Planning Personnel Costs (hrhcp_planning) available to them.

To display the BSP, SAP recommends you use Single Sign-On.
You can make the BSP available in the following ways:
· Let line managers call the BSP from the SAP GUI.
· Send the URL (Uniform Resource Locator) of the BSP to line managers by e-mail.
· Make the URL accessible in your intranet.
· Integrate the BSP as an external service in the Business Package for Manager Self-Service (MSS) in the SAP Enterprise Portal.
To make the BSP available in an e-mail, your intranet, or in MSS, proceed as follows:
...
1.
Activate the BSP (see
Activating the BSP Extension).
2.
Check
the user type of the line managers. Change this user type, if necessary (see
under
Logon
Data Tab Page in the User Type section).

Users of type Service are not allowed to display BSPs. Only users of type Dialog are allowed to display BSPs.
3.
Check
the line managers’ profile parameters. Change these if necessary (see
under
Profile
Parameters for Logon and Password (Login Parameters)).

If you want to use single sign-on, the user master records of the line managers must enable the logon using single sign-on. The profile parameters must be set up appropriately.
4.
Determine the URL of the BSP and make this available
by e-mail or in the intranet (see
Accessing a BSP Application).
5. Make the BSP available in Manager Self-Service, if necessary. For more information, see the administration guide for the SAP Enterprise Portal.
