Single
and Group Tremcards
The system supports the processing of single and group tremcards.
· A single tremcard is assigned to one real substance only.
It is generated for the specific real substance. You can specify tremcard phrases under a real substance. You can edit the value assignment types you require to do this in the EH&S Tremcard (DG_TRM) property tree. You store the tremcard numbers under the real substance as identifiers. Using the dangerous goods classification you assign the UN number and the dangerous goods description of the corresponding UN-listed substance to the tremcard.
· A group tremcard is assigned to a number of real substances. There are two distinct variants:
...
¡ The tremcard is generated for a real substance where you specify the tremcard phrases. You also store the tremcard number under the real substance. By means of the dangerous goods classification, the tremcard is given the UN number of the corresponding UN-listed substance.
¡ You enter all other real substances that have the same tremcard in the report header of the tremcard real substance. This assignment is taken into account when you search for the tremcard for a real substance in the report information system. The SAP enhancement C1F30001 is available to use for checking the assignment. See the documentation for the IMG activity Develop Enhancement for Reference Specifications in Customizing for Product Safety.
In this case you create a specification of the specification type tremcard TRM_INSTR together with a dangerous goods classification and referenced UN-listed substance. Under the specification TRM_INSTR you store the tremcard phrases and the following real substance identifiers for which the group tremcard is to apply.
§ Group description (name of the substance group on that is to appear on the tremcard)
§ UN numbers
§ Tremcard number
You enter the real substances for which the group tremcard is to apply in the report header of the specification TRM_INSTR.

As well as the real substance, you also have the option of assigning a dangerous goods classification to the material directly by means of material-specification assignment. In this case, the dangerous goods classification that was assigned to the material applies.
The tremcard is then generated for the dangerous goods classification. This means you must specify all tremcard phrases and tremcard identifiers under the dangerous goods classification.
If no tremcard is available in the dangerous goods classification, the system does not output a tremcard. If only one real substance is assigned to the material, the tremcard for the real substance is used.
If you work with directly assigned dangerous goods classifications, you can use the SAP enhancement DG560002 to filter the number of specifications that were assigned to a material. This is particularly relevant if you use families of regulations. See the documentation for the IMG activity Develop Enhancement for Filtering Specifications in Customizing for Product Safety.
If an error occurs when tremcards are output, an error message is sent. See the documentation for the IMG activity Assign Recipient for Error Handling in Customizing for Product Safety.
A log is also created, which, in addition to error messages, also contains information and success messages in accordance with your Customizing settings. To display the logs, choose Tools ® Check Report Logs in the Dangerous Goods Management menu.
