Use

If you want to consolidate across more than one period, use multiperiod consolidation.

Integration

A consolidation cycle for multiperiod consolidation applies to a particular version.

Prerequisites

You have made the following settings in Customizing for Consolidation under Data ® Data Monitor ® Consolidation Cycle for Multi-Period Consolidation or Consolidation Functions ® Consolidation Monitor ® Consolidation Cycle for Multi-Period Consolidation:

Note

In the data monitor and the consolidation monitor, the status display does not necessarily apply to multiple periods:

Within a consolidation cycle, you can execute tasks of a period while one or more tasks in the prior period are not yet blocked.

Recommendation

However, you should make sure that the tasks of the prior period are blocked.

Example 1

In Customizing for the consolidation cycle, you have defined a consolidation cycle with one delta year:

The above-mentioned functions are available during the consolidation cycle (for example, you can scroll between periods in the data monitor and in the consolidation monitor).
