Evaluating Change Documents 

Use

You use this procedure to evaluate the change documents created for a change state of a recipe.

Prerequisites

The creation of change documents has been activated for the relevant recipe fields in the ABAP Dictionary. This is the case in the standard system.

Note that system performance decreases if you activate too many fields for the creation of change documents.

Procedure

       1.      Load the recipe whose change documents you want to evaluate and choose it from the hit list or the navigation area by double-clicking.

The change state selected while loading is displayed in the application area.

       2.      If you want to evaluate a different change state, choose the  Eng. Change States tab page and then the change state you want to evaluate.

The system displays the  Basic Data tab page automatically.

       3.      Choose Environment ® Change Documents.

The Output: Parameter Tree screen appears. You can edit the output layout for the data output here.

       4.      Select the areas in which you want to evaluate the changes and choose  with the quick info text Output Object.

A list of the changed fields with a comparison of the old and new value is displayed. For more information, see Outputting and Comparing Data.
