Definition

A number of additional features are provided on infotype Absences (2001) for Occupational Absence (OxP) processing in Payroll Great Britain. These are:

InfoSource documentation     Entitlements Left

Generates an overview of an employee’s remaining absence entitlements

InfoSource documentation     Absence Breakdown

Shows how the absence will be paid in payroll

InfoSource documentation     Absence Entry Check

The SAP system checks the consistency of the employee's master data and absence scheme customising when you create an infotype 2001 record.

Use

You maintain the relevant subtype of infotype 2001 to set up Statutory and Occupational Absence payments for your employees.

Structure

Entitlements Left

Provides you with an overview of an employee’s remaining entitlements (in weeks) to both Statutory (SxP) and Occupational Absence (OxP) payments.

This report derives the employee's absence scheme and how much entitlement is left in each entitlement band according to the scheme rules.

Absence Breakdown
Using this option, you can display a condensed absence history for an employee, including information on:

·        Waiting Days

·        Qualifying Days

·        Non-Qualifying Days

·        Extension Days

·        Reduction Days

·        Absence Subtypes

·        Payment Bands

·        Absence Groupings

Absence Entry Check

You configure the absence entry check in the Payroll Great Britain Implementation Guide (IMG), under: Occupational Absences ® Automatic Processing ® Go Live! ® De-activate Absence Entry Checking.

The absence entry check monitors the consistency of an employee's master data and absence scheme customising when an absence record is saved. If any errors are generated, you cannot save the record.

Note

Any band changes between payment bands during the period of absence are reported as warning messages.
