Customizing the Yard Scheduling
Chart 
You can customize the following aspects of the yard scheduling chart:
· Displayed columns and their width
· Text displayed on scheduling activity objects
· Color of objects
· Display of links between scheduling activity objects
· Default modes

From the yard scheduling chart
tool bar, choose
.
The Customize Chart View dialog box appears.
2. Choose the appropriate tab to customize an aspect of the chart.

Displayed columns and width |
... 1. Choose Columns tab. 2. If you want to display a field as a column in the chart, select Display. 3. In the Width field, enter a number to represent the width of the column in the chart (expressed as 0.01mm) |

Object texts |
... 1. Choose Obj. Text tab. 2. From the Content drop-down list, choose one or more attributes that you wish to be displayed as text on the objects in the chart. |

Object colors |
... 1. Choose Obj. Color tab. 2. Select a color for each chart element.
The following default colors are provided: · Light gray – Planned · ALV dark blue – Started · Dark green – Completed · White – Cancelled · Black – Activity Link |

Links between objects |
... 1. Choose Links tab. 2. If you want to display links between scheduling activities for the same vehicle, select Display. 3. Select the type of link to be displayed: ¡ Diagonal ¡ Orthogonal |

Default modes |
... 1. Choose Modes tab. 2. Select Attribute or Duration mode. Attribute mode enables you to: ¡ Select an object ¡ Display an object’s details ¡ Modify a scheduling activity’s status ¡ Cancel a scheduling activity ¡ Move activities (objects) horizontally (i.e. change the time period of a scheduling activity) ¡ Move activities (objects) vertically (i.e. change the location of a scheduling activity) Duration mode enables you to: ¡ Adjust the duration of activities (i.e. change the start or end time of a scheduling activity) ¡ Move activities (objects) horizontally (i.e. change the time period of a scheduling activity) For more information, see Using Other Yard Scheduling Chart Functions. |
3. To save the settings for the current session only, choose Apply.
The new settings are immediately applied to the chart.
4. To save the settings as the default settings, choose Save as default.

Choose
to
close the Customize Chart View dialog box.
