Configuring Adapters
You want to edit your interactive form using an asynchronous connection, or the design of the form template requires just this.

You can transfer interactive forms in two ways:
■ Using a synchronous connection:
The form is always sent through the HTTP protocol for further processing.
■ Using an asynchronous connection
The form can initially be accessed through the HTTP protocol. However, after being processed, the form is sent back as an e-mail attachment. An asynchronous connection enables you to edit the interactive form in offline mode.
For more information, see
Exposing Interactive
Forms as Callable Objects.
An adapter is a module ensuring the connection between the GP framework and the service that provides the interactive form (such as ADS or MS Office Document Server). Using the function described here, you can configure the adapter communication data required for an asynchronous connection.
You have activated the following parameters for the service caf/eu/gp/model in the Visual Administrator.
