Position Budgeting and Control (PA-PM-PB)

The funds made available for a person or position required in a particular period. The financing is created in the system by the commitment run. The commitment run can be called up in the following way:

• It is planned as a job in Customizing of Position Budgeting and Control. This means that the new financing is created regularly, without manual intervention.
• Using the menu Position Budgeting and Control
• Using the infotype financing status (infotype 0724 or infotype 1516)

In Position Budgeting and Control, the financing status is in infotype 1516 (for positions) or 0724 (for persons). Financing is called commitment in Funds Management. This commitment is saved as an earmarked fund in document form: as funds precommitment for positions and fund commitments for persons.
