Manual Posting Integration 

Purpose

Funds and functional areas are now considered when you perform the following Controlling (CO) and Project System (PS) manual actual postings and repostings for cost centers, internal orders, and WBS elements:

·        Manual reposting of costs

·        Manual reposting of revenues

·        Repost line items

·        Activity allocation

·        Activity allocation reposting

·        Manual cost allocation

Prerequisites

You must configure the fund and functional area fields in CO manual actual postings by accessing the Implementation Guide (IMG) and choosing Controlling ® Cost Center Accounting ® Actual Postings ® Manual Actual Postings ® Define Own Screen Variants for Postings in Controlling

Process Flow

When you activate fund accounting and configure screen variants to include fund and functional area, manual actual postings and repostings provide for the movement of amounts from the sender(s) to the receiver(s), using fund(s) and functional area(s) specified in the line items. You can enter funds and functional areas directly in the line items or have them default based on assignments made using the derivation tool.
