Component documentation Posting to Accounting for Concurrent Employment Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Purpose

As an independent business process, posting to Accounting is part of the periodic subsequent activities of Payroll. The system transfers posting-relevant information from the payroll results of the employee, in a summarized form, to posting documents. You can then check and release the results, and post them to Accounting.

If you use concurrent employment, the component Posting to Accounting is available with all the functions. However, from the technical point of view, there are some differences from systems in which concurrent employment is not active. There is more information about these differences in the following sections.
