Filtering of Generation Variants by Regulation

Use

This function determines from the generation variants that best match the countries specified, those whose validity areas match the dangerous goods regulations. This reduces the number of generation variants found.

Features

The system determines the generation variants matching the dangerous goods regulations that were found for the material as follows:

If the system has not found any dangerous goods regulations, that is, if the material is not relevant for dangerous goods, the only generation variants used are those in whose validity areas no dangerous goods regulations were specified.

If the system has found dangerous goods regulations for the material, that is, if the material to be labeled is relevant for dangerous goods, the only generation variants used are those in whose validity areas the dangerous goods regulations that were found were specified.
If the system has found dangerous goods regulations for the material, but the No DGReg indicator is set for the label category in the IMG activity Specify Label Categories in Customizing for Global Label Management, in the same way as for materials that are not relevant for dangerous goods, the only generation variants used will be those in whose validity areas no dangerous goods regulations were specified.
