Use

With this procedure you can combine measurements that have the status Partial Measurement (PTME).

When combining, partial measurements are combined for each measurement method. The system generates the number of new measurements to match the number of measurement methods. In each new measurement it then combines the partial measurements for one measurement method.

Prerequisites

For the object type Measurement, the Partial Measurements tab page is assigned in the IMG activity Configure Tab Pages in Customizing for Industrial Hygiene and Safety. This is the case in the standard system. For more information about this system setting, see the documentation for the IMG activity.

You have opened the required measurement project under Accessing Measurement Management and have selected the work area in which you want to combine partial measurements.

Procedure

...

       1.      Choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text Combine.

A dialog box for selecting partial measurements appears.

       2.      Choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text with the quick info text Transfer. If you want to restrict the search using the properties of the partial measurements, you can enter search criteria first.

A hit list of the partial measurements that match your search criteria appears.

       3.      Select the required partial measurements and choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text with the quick info text Transfer.

The system creates new measurements to match the number of measurement methods, and combines the partial measurements in them as follows:

¡        The measurement duration and the total volume of the partial measurements are added together for each measurement method.

¡        The measured values for each agent are determined for the partial measurements and the average is formed from these.

¡        The partial measurements are stored in the new measurements on the Partial Measurements tab page.

¡        The tasks in the partial measurements are determined and transferred to the new measurement.

The new measurements are inserted in the project tree for the measurement project, and the first measurement is displayed in the application area.

       4.      Enter the required information for the measurement such as Sampling Type and Cost Center.

       5.      Check the measured values, release the measurement if required, and save your entries.

       6.      Repeat steps 4. and 5. for the other new measurements.
