Use

Overviews in the Information System give you an overview of single or multiple objects you select for a specific project. The system creates a structure overview from the values you maintain in the selection screen. You can go to the individual overviews and detail screens from the structure overview. The following graphic shows you how to navigate between the individual overviews:

Features

The following overviews are available:

Structure Overview

The structure overview displays all selected object types, for example, WBS elements and activities, in your hierarchical structure.

Note

You can also use the project structure overview (transaction code CN41N), which is a user-friendly version of the structure overview. Only use this, however, if you do not require the full functional scope of the structure overview (transaction code CN41). For more information, see Structure Overview and Project Structure Overview.

Individual Overviews

The individual overview displays individual objects belonging to a project. There are individual overviews for the following objects:

·        Project definition

·        WBS elements

·        Networks

·        Activities

·        Orders

·        Sales and distribution documents

·        Sales document items

·        Relationships

·        Milestones

·        Production resources/tools (PRT)

·        Capacity requirements

·        Confirmations

·        Components

·        Planned orders

Change Documents

Change documents exist for:

·        Project/network

·        Standard WBS

·        Standard network
