Determination of Number of Labels 
Use
This function determines the number of labels required for those labels found during
label determination.Prerequisites
In order for the system to be able to determine the number of labels, the following data must be available:

You enter the conversion factors in the material master of the material to be labeled under
Features
The system will calculate the number of labels automatically as follows, if it determined the label tree during
label determination.The following applies:
<Number of labels> = <number of outer packaging units> x <conversion factor> x <number of labels on the packaging unit>

The system determined labels for a material for packaging units pallet and crate. The outermost packaging unit for shipment is the pallet, 10 of which require labels. The alternative units of measure of the material show that a pallet contains 8 crates. For the label categories that were found, the labeling specification states that 2 labels must appear on a pallet and 4 on a crate. This produces the following numbers of labels:
