Management of FAN files
En some cases the RED system refuses the FAN files generated by the program “Social Insurance contribution models” (RPCTC0E0) because they do not pass all the tests. Such tests can be subject to legal constructions that are not considered in the program RPCTC0E0 and are continuously being updated. For this reason files that were accepted on previous occasions may now be refused.
The program RPCFANE0 is used for solving such refusals and thus submitting the files on time, as it allows the modification of FAN files in order to fulfill the RED System requirements.
A FAN file must have been generated earlier.
The program selection screen is divided into files that group related fields. They are the following:
Tabstrip "Operation". It determines what you want to do with the FAN file. Its fields are checkboxes with the following functions:
● Display: The file is not modified by the program.
● Integrate files: The program adds the TemSe 1 and TemSe 2 files
● Filter TemSe 1 file: The TemSe 1 file is filtered according to the contents of the “Filter” block selection fields
● Generate supplementary declaration: The program subtracts the TemSe 1 and TemSe 2 files. Thus you would obtain a supplementary declaration due to differences in bases if the Temse 1 file had been obtained with current payroll results and the Temse 2 file had been obtained with earlier payroll results.
● Upload a Temse: The program asks for a PC file to integrate it in FAN file format.
Tabstrip "Filter".These fields determine the segments that are filtered by the program to create the FAN.
● Contribution Account Code: It filters the EMP segments for a CA Code and their associated segments.
● Qualifier: It filters the EMP segments and their associated segments according to the Qualifier.
● Period: It filters the DAT segments and their associated segments by period.
● Affiliation Number: It filters the TRA segments and their associated segments by Affiliation Number.
● EDL segments: It filters the EDL segments by the type and key of the specified segment. For example: CD07, CD01, etc.
● Legal Reference: It filters the EDL segments with discounts (EDLCD) by the Legal reference field.
● Delay surcharge: Delay surcharge that will be applied to the resulting file (EDTCA90)
● EDT CA segments recalculation: Keys of the EDTCA segments that will be obtained by applying the contribution rate to the total of the bases specified in the EDLBA segments. The default values correspond to the calculation of the amounts performed by the RED System. SAP recommends that you do not modify these values.
● EDT CA segment recalculation per employee: Keys of the EDTCA segments obtained by adding the partial amounts per employee. The default values correspond to the calculation of the amounts performed by the RED System. SAP recommends that you do not modify these values.
● Total amount: It is obtained by calculating the company and the employee amount in the EDTCA segments.
● Only company amount: Only the company amount in the EDTCA segments is calculated.
● Only employee amount: Only the employee amount in the EDTCA segments is calculated.
● TC1 printout: You obtain the TC1 form for the Temse 1 and Temse 2 files.
● TC2 listing: You obtain the TC2 form for the Temse 1 file.
Tabstrip "Listing". The fields in this file are checkboxes with the following functions:
● Temse 1: The Temse1 file will be displayed as an interactive tree or as a list.
● Temse 2: The Temse2 file will be displayed as an interactive tree or as a list.
● Negative FAN: Displays the FAN file with negative bases that results from subtracting the Temse2 file from the Temse 1 file.
● FAN message: Displays the resulting FAN file as an interactive tree or as a list.
● Interactive tree: Displays the FAN file as a tree. In this manner, the contents of the file can be edited.
● List: Displays the FAN file as a tree.
After entering the FAN file to be processed in the selection screen and entering the corresponding data in the fields, the program displays the file with a tree structure. When opening the tree nodes, the different file segments (TRA, DAT, EDL..) are displayed.
The program allows you to change any field in the file through the icon menu. For example, the epigraph, the number of days or even an amount. Likewise, the program allows you to delete and copy full segments.
Once the required modifications have been performed, you generate the definitive FAN file message by pressing the calculator button.
The file is saved in the server by pressing F/.

The program RPCFANE0 must only be used by experts, who should not have any difficulty in exploiting all of its possibilities after a training period. For instance, it is possible to integrate two files, subtract two files generating a supplementary declaration or applying a delay surcharge.
