Object Mapper
The Object Mapper is used to define the related objects in a passthrough funding scenario in Grants Management for Grantee (GM-GTE). Only when a relationship is declared between an incoming grant and an outgoing grant on the level of GM-GTE account assignment grant, fund, sponsored program, and sponsored class, can budget be transferred and accumulated expense be billed back from outgoing to incoming GM-GTE objects. This process is called the "passthrough process".
Before using the Object Mapper, you must create the grants you want to use as incoming and outgoing grants and match them with the sponsored objects (programs and classes) required.
See the documentation on master data in GM-GTE for information on how to do this.

While you can carry out this work at any time during grant processing, we recommend that you do so as early as possible in the grant lifecycle, during grant master data setup.
To use the Object Mapper, proceed as follows:
...
1. Go to the Grants Management section of the Easy Access menu and choose Grantee Management -> Master Data -> Object Mapper -> Posting Object Mapper.
2. Go to change mode and make the entries you need. The online documentation includes detailed information on what to do here.
3. When you have finished, save your entries.
