Exposure
Profile
You use this function to document which agents occur in a work area and to make an estimated rating of the exposure situation for each agent, dependent on the operation status of the work area.
The exposure profile is closely linked to the risk assessment. The risk assessment is more of an expert mode in contrast to the exposure profile. In risk assessment you can determine the assessment of the exposure situation using analytical methods (see Performing of Risk Assessments).
If you used the pattern function when you created the work area, exposure profile entries may already exist for the work area, which originated in the pattern. For more information, see Pattern.
In the standard system, the Business Add-In (BAdI) for calculating the overall rating for the work area evaluates the ratings you assign in the exposure profile (see Work Area, “Overall rating and received rating” section).
You can transfer
ratings from the exposure profile using the
report program EHS_IHORG_EG_ADJUSTMENT to the long-term average of the
infotype 1403. For more information, see
Transfer of Exposure
Profile Ratings to the Long-Term Average in the Occupational Health (EHS-HEA)
component.
You call the
function by choosing
Exposure Profile in the hit list.
If you have entered an initial rating for an agent in the exposure profile, but you also want to make a detailed risk assessment in addition, you can create this directly from the exposure profile. If a risk assessment already exists, you can navigate on to display or edit the existing data.
To guarantee that the ratings in the exposure profile and the risk assessment remain consistent, you can run a data matchup. This compares the rating you entered in the exposure profile and matches it up to the value assignment after check or the main rating of the related risk assessment. You can also request the data matchup from the context of a risk assessment. For more information, see Matchup with the Exposure Profile.
