Holiday Certificate (0505) 
In this infotype you store the employee’s holiday certificate data.
An employee leaving his/her company usually receives two holiday certificates (one for the current year and one for the following year) to settle holiday pay with his new employer.In addition, the following should be paid out:
· Balance holiday pay
¡ Double and additional holiday pay of the current holiday year, unless it has already been paid out.
¡ Single holiday pay of the current holiday year, unless the employee has already taken all his vacation days.
· Early holiday pay
¡ Double and additional holiday pay, which the employee has been building up during the current holiday service year.
¡ Single holiday pay for the number of vacation days the employee has already built up during the current holiday year.
To settle holiday pay, do the following:
1. Create a holiday certificate on this infotype.
2. Fill in the data mentioned on the holiday certificate as described below. The data is then used to determine whether or not a certificate needs to be settled and how much holiday pay still has to be paid or not.

Start/end date
The start date and end date are used to calculate the number of months the
employee was employed during the holiday service year, in order to calculate
the double holiday pay correctly.

Employment percentage
Enables you to specify the employment percentage according to the work
schedule.

Holiday year
Refers to the year in which the vacation days -which have been built up during
the corresponding holiday service year- are taken and paid.

Gross Single Holiday
Payment
Enables you to specify the gross single holiday pay amount the employee
received from his previous employer when he/she left the company.
·
Gross Double Holiday
Payment
Enables you to specify the gross double holiday pay amount the employee
received from his previous employer when he/she left the company.
·
Employment status
Refers to the employee's employment status at his previous employment(s)
during the holiday service year.
·
Total days
Enables you to specify the total number of vacation days for which rights have
been built up during the employment period of the certificate. This field is
used to determine the single and double holiday pay amount.
·
Holidays left
Enables you to specify the number of vacation days that have not been taken
during the holiday year the certificate refers to. This field is also used to
determine the correct amounts for single and double holiday pay.
