Pension
Advantage (0504)
In this infotype you store the data relating to a particular pension benefit.
Each benefit is linked to the pension type you have specified in infotype Pension Definition (503) and is automatically assigned a unique number. This number is based on the pension key data. You can change any key data without having to change the benefit number. If so, the system asks you whether you want to keep the existing number or whether you want to create a new pension benefit with a different number.
In this infotype you can specify only one wage type and enter the corresponding amount. If you have pension benefits consisting of more than one element (wage type), you can enter them in the infotype Additional Payments (Pensions) (0569) by clicking Additional Payments.
This infotype is split as follows:

key data
Enables you to specify data for the Pension Declaration, such as:
¡ The pension file number, which is a unique number per company/institution and per pension. You can have the same number for more than one benefit.
¡ The frequency of payment, which allows you to tell the system how often a benefit must be paid. This can be either a one-time or a monthly payment.
¡ The benefit code. Usually, the key data of a pension benefit are used to distinguish the various benefits linked to the same pension. Benefits codes allow you to make further distinctions.
¡ The institution registration number, which refers to the registration number assigned to your company or institution by the RIZIV/INAMI.
·
Advantage
data
Enables you to specify the pension benefit attributes, such as:
¡ The reference number, which refers to a pension benefit that already existed before 01/01/1989. The first six positions should contain the identification number of the institution that granted the pension benefit, the remaining fourteen positions are free. Note that this field is optional.
¡ The applicable indexation system, which refers to the system the employer uses to adjust the pension amount.
¡ The career ratio numerator and denominator, which determine the SI contribution rate to deduct from additional pension payments paid by the employer. This applies to contributions related to career years before 01/01/1989. In all other cases, the standard rate of 8,86% is applicable.
¡ The date of the last month in which a pension benefit is paid. This refers to the termination of a pension benefit. It allows you to indicate that a beneficiary is no longer entitled to a pension benefit. Note that this action cannot be reversed. To suspend a pension benefit temporarily, either delimit the infotype or enter a nil amount.
¡ Additionally, you can also cancel an invalid pension benefit. Note that this action cannot be reversed either.
