Agreement for Settlement Scheduling 

Use

Settlement schedule is always carried out if a standard agreement for settlement scheduling exists in the commission contract and individual settings have also been made in the contract. An agreement for actual commission can also be made.

The objective of settlement scheduling is not to disburse remuneration entitlements in one single commission payment but to schedule them on fixed dates over a defined period as settlement schedule items. To do this, the system creates settlement schedules in which the remuneration is scheduled into settlement schedule items. The items are then transferred to the disbursement system in the settlement run.

 

You use settlement scheduling to schedule settlement of the remuneration entitlement on the basis of the scheduling rules you have defined. The result of this is the creation of a settlement schedule consisting of one or more settlement schedule items. Each settlement schedule item represents a scheduled settlement item.

In future releases, the concept of remuneration scheduling called the legal right to future commission will be completely replaced by settlement scheduling. In other words, the rule for the legal right to future commission will no longer be a remuneration type option. Instead, the scheduling rule will be used in the determination of the commission case process either dynamically or customer-specific.

●     To use settlement scheduling you must have selected package CACS25 (settlement scheduling) in the Implementation Guide (IMG) under Incentive and Commission Management ® Application Administration ® Installation of Commission Application ® Select Commission Packages.

Settlement scheduling is a prerequisite for actual commission (package CACS27).

Master Data

Before you make agreements for settlement scheduling in a commission contract in which a standard agreement for settlement scheduling exists, you must have carried out the following steps:

       1.      You have created a standard commission contract and assigned it a standard agreement for settlement scheduling.

       2.      You have also assigned scheduling rules to the standard agreements for settlement scheduling.

       3.      Individualize Commission Contract
Finally, you have created your individual commission contract by selecting certain scheduling rules and assigning them to the standard agreement for settlement scheduling.
