Creating a Value Adjustment (RBD)
Account
You can use the create value adjustment account function to create value adjustment portfolios (RBD accounts) for both SAP Loans Management contracts and SAP Deposits Management accounts.
You can create RBD accounts at three different aggregation levels (contract, finance project, and partner). The aggregation level finance project is not relevant for the interface with SAP Deposits Management (SAP AM).
For descriptions of the business processes, see Reserve for Bad Debts (RBD).
When you create an IVA account, you have to enter values in the following fields:
· RBD Area
· RBD Account Number
· Account Type
· Aggregation Level
· Source System ID
· Reference Number
· Valuation Method

A detailed description of how to create further data is provided under Account Data, Source System Contracts, Records Processing, Account Statement, Objects and Encumbrances ,and Collaterals .
