Social Insurance CH 
The Swiss social insurance is based on a system that includes an obligatory pension, disability, and surviving dependents’ insurance [AHV], an invalidity insurance [IV], and a company pension fund. In addition, private insurance coverage is available.
The component represents the obligatory insurances of the Swiss social insurance system. Both the federal and cantonal laws are thereby taken into consideration.
The component includes the following functions:

Contribution
calculation
The component calculates the contributions for various insurances in
accordance with the federal and cantonal laws.
· AHV (pension, disability, and surviving dependents‘)
· Unemployment insurance (UI)
· Industrial accident insurance (IA)
·
Non-industrial
accident insurance (NIA)
The component calculates the following in accordance with cantonal laws:
· Contributions for the family equalization fund [FAK]
·
FAK payments
(family-related bonuses)
In addition, the component calculates the contributions for the NIA supplemental insurance.

Creation of
evaluations
The component creates evaluations for the following:
· AHV
· Accident insurance institutions
· Accounting for the employee’s individual account (IA)
· Accounting with family equalization fund (FAK-Accounting)
The calculation of the social insurance contributions is integrated in the payroll run.
While running payroll and creating evaluations for social insurance, the system mainly evaluates Social Insurance Data CH infotype 0036 and Organizational Assignment infotype 0001 as well as the applicable payroll units in which the employees are grouped.
You execute the reports for creating the Evaluations/Statistics by choosing the following path from the SAP Easy Access screen: Human Resources -> Payroll -> Europe -> Switzerland -> Subsequent Activities.
