Features

The functions for switching exchange rate types let you switch the conversion for an exchange rate type and currency pair to a different exchange rate type as from a certain date.

Activities

In the Implementation Guide (IMG) choose SAP NetWeaver ® General Settings  ® Currencies ® Define Translation Ratios for Currency Translation.

·        In the alternative exchange rate type field, enter the exchange rate type you have maintained for the EURO changeover (see Features of a Reference Currency).

This allows you to switch the exchange rate type of each currency pair containing a participating currency to the exchange rate type specially maintained for the EURO changeover as from 01/01/99 (see Features of a Reference Currency).

This ensures that the conversion is standardized across all exchange rate types when a participating currency is involved.
