Report Management – Waste Management

Tasks

This task of this role is to make the individual status changes that are required in the SAP Product Safety component, from the generation to the release of reports with a reference to a specification (such as safety data sheets).

Note

Note that with this role you can make the status changes for reports in the SAP Product Safety component only. For disposal documents there is a separate status concept in the SAP Waste Management component. You make the status changes for disposal documents in the Disposal Documents role.

In report generation, the specification symbols are replaced with the corresponding data. You can use the SAP System to generate a worklist for reports in which changes have been made subsequently to phrase or specification data.

Integration

You make the first request for a report with a reference to a specification in the Specification Management role (SAP_EHS_SAF_SUBSTANCEDATA).

Report management is only relevant for reports with a reference to a specification. In the Report Creation – Waste Management role you can set up the system so that the statuses are changed automatically.

Reports that do not have a reference to a specification are automatically considered as released.

All released reports and historical reports are available in the Report Information System - Product Safety role (SAP_EHS_SAF_REPORTINFO).
