Procedure documentation Creating and Changing Account Data Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Use

You define the master data for the RBD account on the Account Data tab page.

Procedure

       1.      Enter an account name. If you choose the Partner account aggregation level, this name is generated by the Reserve for Bad Debt (RBD) component from the partner data. You can change this name if necessary.

       2.      Enter the account display currency.
All transactions in foreign currencies (that is, in currencies other than the display currency) are translated to the specified currency to display the account statement. The middle rate on the posting date of the actual record is used for this purpose.

       3.      Choose the administrator responsible for the RBD account. When the account is created, the system automatically proposes the current user as the administrator.

       4.      Specify whether the RBD account can receive automatic postings. Only accounts with this indicator can be updated by the Post Value Adjustment (RBD) Portfolio report.

       5.      You cannot change the account status directly in the account screen. To do so, you have to choose Edit ® Account Status.
If necessary, you can set a deletion flag for the RBD portfolio by choosing
Edit ® Deletion Flag.

Note

You can reactivate an account that has been deactivated by choosing Account Management ® Reactivate Value Adjustment Account.
You can only set a deletion flag for accounts that have been deactivated.
