Correspondence Type 

Definition

Key that defines a correspondence type with associated control attributes. A correspondence type specifies correspondence belonging to the same category, such as account statement.

Use

A correspondence type defines which data is temporarily saved in the correspondence request during correspondence generation.
This data is accessed during execution of the correspondence print run.

Correspondence types are fixed in the system and cannot be changed. However, you have the option of defining your own additional correspondence types.

You make the settings for the correspondence types in the IMG activity Correspondence with Correspondence Tool (SAP Smart Forms).

Structure

In Loans Management you can create individual letters during the processing of individual functions by choosing the Generate Correspondence button. In terms of mass processing you create letters using the functions in Process Management.

You can use the following correspondence types:

·        BL00 CML Template: General

You can use this correspondence type as a template for your own correspondence types and for basic notification. 

·        BL43 Loan Contract

·        BL46 Capital Transfer Offer

·        BL47 Payment Plan

·        BL48 Rollover Offer

·        BL49 Payoff

·        BL50 Borrower Change without Capital Transfer
