Procedure documentation Deleting Old Data Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Use

When you execute the Property Tax Report in update mode, it saves the values that it has calculated for each asset. It does not overwrite or delete any old values, so the amount of data increases every time you execute the report. So, for example, if you execute five update runs in a year, the system stores five separate sets of values.

To save the system’s memory, you can delete old data for a specific tax declaration year using the program provided. This program deletes all of the data from that year, except for the very last update run. If you use provisional and final runs, the system keeps the most recent data from both sorts of runs.

Procedure

...

       1.      Execute the data deletion program, RAIDJP_TAX_TCO.

       2.      Enter the tax declaration year whose values you want to delete, and choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text.

Example

In 2003, you execute the Property Tax Report five times in update mode, three times as a provisional run and twice as a final run. In 2006, you run the data deletion program. It deletes the data from the first two provisional runs and the first final run, but leaves the data from the last provisional and last final run.
