Function documentation Label Stock Determination Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Use

This function determines suitable label stocks from the label category, label size, transport symbol group, and countries specified in the labeling scenario.

Features

The system determines suitable label stocks by evaluating all label stocks created in Global Label Management. A label stock is suitable if it fulfills the following criteria:

·        It has been assigned the label category for which the label stock is to be determined.

·        It has been assigned the label size found in the labeling specification or specified in the labeling scenario Sample during label determination.

·        It has been assigned all the transport symbol groups found by the system during label determination (see Determination of Transport Symbol Groups).

·        It has been assigned validity areas covering all the countries specified in the labeling scenario. In order to check this, the system breaks the validity areas down into the countries belonging to them and compares these with the countries specified. If a label stock has not been assigned a validity area, it is valid everywhere.

Note

You can find out how to assign the corresponding objects to a label stock under Editing Label Stock.
