Use

With this procedure you can use filters with various criteria in the dates overview:

Procedure

Filter according to objects

  1. Choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text
  2. Select the object to filter and enter the restriction.
  3. In restrictions, you can use the wild card *. For instance, if you enter P-13* in WBS element, the system only displays WBS elements that begin with P-13.

  4. Accept the filter criterion by choosingThis graphic is explained in the accompanying text.
  5. To remove a filter set for an object, choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text.

Filter according to date attributes

  1. Choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text Date.
  2. Enter your filter criteria:

  2. To remove a filter, choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text Date.

This pushbutton appears in the standard toolbar, if you have entered a restriction in Variance, Date interval, or Status interval. It does not appear, if you have only filtered according to date type. Consequently you cannot remove the filter with This graphic is explained in the accompanying text Date.

Filter events

  1. Choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text Event.
  2. A list of events that are assigned to the current groups appears. The currently displayed events are selected.

  3. Deselect any events that you do not want to display..
  4. If you want to sort the events in a different order, select the relevant events, cut them out by choosing This graphic is explained in the accompanying text , select the event where they should be inserted, and paste by choosing This graphic is explained in the accompanying text.
  5. Note

    You can do the same in the overview by moving columns. In this case, however, the status column is not moved automatically with the event to which it belongs.

  6. Accept the filter by choosing This graphic is explained in the accompanying text.
  7. To cancel the filter conditions, choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text Event again and select the required events.
