Determining Labels

       1.      In the Product Safety menu, choose Global Label Management ® Label Printing.

The Labeling screen appears.

In certain cases, you will reach a screen first on which you will have to log on to the logistics systems from which data is to be transferred by Remote Function Call (RFC) to the labeling scenarios. For more information about this and how you can automate this logon, see Customizing for Global Label Management under Specify RFC Connections to Logistics Systems.

       2.      Choose the tab page of the labeling scenario from which you want to start label determination.

       3.      Enter the necessary data and confirm by pressing Enter.

The system derives any missing data from your entries and the standard values from Customizing for Global Label Management and adds it. For more information about deriving data, see the labeling scenario documentation.

       4.      Check the data derived by the system and change it if necessary.

       5.      Choose  Label Tree.

Result

The labels that are found are displayed in the label tree. The  Log function allows you to display information about the determination of the labels.
