The Appraisals Where Appraisee and Appraisals Where Appraiser Subprofiles

Definition

The Appraisals Where Appraisee and Appraisals Where Appraiser subprofiles enable you to manage, create, display, and evaluate appraisals.

The Appraisals Where Appraisee subprofile shows appraisals from the perspective of the appraisee (that is, the appraisals where the planning object in question was an appraisee).

The Appraisals Where Appraiser subprofile shows appraisals from the perspective of the appraiser (that is, the appraisals where the planning object in question was an appraiser).

Use

You use the Appraisals Where Appraisee and Appraisals Where Appraiser subprofiles to:

Display all the appraisals that the planning object in question was an appraisee or appraiser.

Create and perform new appraisals

Change appraisals that need to be edited

Manage and evaluate appraisals

Structure

Name

When you create an appraisal, you can give it a name of your choice so that it can be identified uniquely.

Final result

This is the final result for appraisals that have been completed, or the latest interim result for appraisals that are currently being processed.

Rating text

Depending on the proficiency scale involved, this displays the unit used for the rating, or a user-definable proficiency text.

Note

Shows whether a note has been defined for the corresponding appraisal model. The note in question can be displayed by clicking on the corresponding icon.

Appraisal status

Shows the stage of completion of an appraisal.

‘Created on’ date

Shows the key date on which the appraisal was created.

Period appraised

Shows the period for which the planning object is to be appraised.

You can also evaluate the appraisals displayed in the Appraisals subprofiles. You can:

Display the appraisals selected as a list

Compare the appraisals selected with each other

Calculate the average result of the appraisals selected

Integration

You can also define an Appraisal Where… subprofile for object types other than those for which standard settings have been made. For further information about defining profiles, refer to the Implementation Guide (IMG) for Personnel Development under Functions ® Define profile view.
