Authorization Types in Grantee Management 

Definition

Authorization types control which business partners a user is allowed to maintain.

Use

To define one or more authorization types, go to the Grantee Management section of the Implementation Guide and choose Master Data  ® Grant  ® Maintain Grant Authorization Types. Enter an identifier and description for each new authorization type you want to create.

You can make authorization types dependent on one or two specific fields. To do this, place the cursor in Screen Field 1 and choose the field from the list provided. Do the same in Screen Field 2 if desired.

Remember to activate your new authorization type by checking the Active box.
