Sample Labeling Scenario
From this labeling scenario you can determine and print labels of your choice for a material. This means you can also specify a label category and a label size for label determination that were not specified in the label data of the material (see Editing Label Data in the Material Master). This enables you to create labels for a new sample.
See Labeling Scenario.
For this labeling scenario, you will require the following data that the system sometimes derives from the data that has been entered and from standard values you have specified in Customizing for Global Label Management as described below:
Data |
Origin |
You can enter the specification to determine the material belonging to it (see origin of material). If you do not enter a specification, the system uses the specification assigned to the material that was entered. |
Material |
You have to enter the material. When you have entered a specification and confirmed your entry, the system proposes the first material assigned to the specification. However, you can also choose a different material from those assigned to the specification. |
Label size, number of labels, and label category |
You have to enter these. The system proposes the value 1 for the number of labels. |
Plant |
The system determines all plants for which data was entered in the material master for the material and uses the first plant it finds. However, you can choose a different plant from those that were determined. |
Modes of transport and countries |
The system uses the modes of transport and validity areas that were assigned to the specified plant in Customizing for Global Label Management under Specify Values for EPA Numbers, Validity Areas, and Modes of Transport. The system uses the validity areas to determine the countries belonging to them. You can change the modes of transport and countries that are suggested. |
Additional user entries |
The additional entries you have to make in the labeling scenario depend on the settings you made for the labeling scenario in Customizing for Global Label Management under Specify Labeling Scenarios. |
See Determining Labels.
