Make-to-Order Labeling Scenario
Use
In this labeling scenario you can print labels during the production process. In contrast to the
make-to-stock labeling scenario, this labeling scenario uses a
process order that has been assigned a
sales order. The system can also derive the modes of transport and countries from the sales order and does not have to use the standard values from Customizing for Global Label Management. Furthermore, the sales order also provides a customer number so that the system can also determine customer-specific labels during label determination in this labeling scenario.
Prerequisites
See
Labeling Scenario.Features
You only have to enter data in this labeling scenario that was already available during the production process. The system derives all other data required for label determination from the data that has been entered.
|
Data |
Origin |
|
Process order |
The process order must be entered by you. |
|
Material |
The system uses the material specified in the process order. If the process order contains a number of materials, the first material is used. However, you can choose a different material from the process order. |
| Packaging unit and number of packaging units |
The system determines the packaging unit and the number of these from the packaging hierarchy of the material and the quantity entered in the process order (see Determination of Type and Number of Packaging Units). |
|
Hierarchy explosion |
You can specify whether the packaging hierarchy should be exploded, that is, whether the system should also determine labels for all packaging units that exist in the packaging hierarchy below the packaging unit specified. The packaging hierarchy will not be exploded by default. |
|
Customer number |
The system uses the customer number taken from the sales order that is assigned to the process order. |
|
Modes of transport |
The system determines the modes of transport from the route specified in the sales order. |
|
Countries |
The system determines the countries from the ship-to address, route, and destination address specified in the sales order. |
|
Additional user entries |
The additional entries you have to make in the labeling scenario depend on the settings you made for the labeling scenario in the IMG activity Specify Labeling Scenarios in Customizing for Global Label Management. |
