Displaying the Transfer Log 

Use

The transfer log contains administrative data about the transfer of concept data to component variants.

It contains the following information:

·        Which concept was the data copied from?

·        Who ran the transfer and when?

Prerequisites

You have transferred the data of an active concept to a component variant at least once.

Procedure

Start the product designer in change mode. Load the product structure in the navigation area.

       1.      In the navigation area, expand the product structure until you see the component variant  for which you want to copy concept data.

       2.      If you double-click on the component variant  the data is loaded.

       3.      In the detail area, choose the Basic Data 1 tab page.

       4.      Scroll down until you see the Concept Reference dataset.

Check the data for the concept group.

If data transfer has run at least once, the  (Display Transfer Log) icon is active.

       5.      Choose the  (Display Transfer Log) icon.

You see a dialog box with the administrative information on data transfer.

You can display change documents by using program RSSCD200 (transaction SE38). The following object classes are relevant to the transfer of concept data to the component variant:

PPECONN for the concept group

PPECONV for the concepts

By specifying further selection criteria, you can restrict the documents to be determined. For example, you can enter a user, a date, or a time.
