Workbench for Collateral
Management 
The central point of entry for processing collateral entities namely the collateral objects, collateral agreements and receivables.
You can access the workbench on the SAP Easy Access screen by choosing Accounting ® Bank Applications ® Collateral Management ® CMS_WB - CMS Workbench.
You can use the workbench for:

● Setting the default organizational units (administration organizational unit and the bank area) in which you want to work. You can set the organizational units in the application menu by choosing CMS ® Set Org Units. These settings internally determine the authorizations for business activities.
● Creating, searching for and navigating between entity objects from the Overview tab page (in an entity object). You can use the forward and back arrows for navigating between entity objects.
● Executing collateral processes such as triggering the workflow, maintaining task lists for users and initiating the calculations.

You cannot maintain the approved coverage gap and class master data (for security accounts) in the workbench. All the collateral monitoring reports provided in Collateral Management must be accessed from the SAP Easy Access menu.
The workbench screen can be divided into two work areas: the search area (on the left-hand side of the screen) and the object details area (on the right-hand side of the screen).
The search area has the following tab pages:
Worklist
The Worklist tab page is set as the default screen and contains the Favorite and the Recent radio buttons. The Recent radio button is set as the default and shows a list of entity objects accessed in the recent past.
You can
create a list of your favorite entity objects by choosing
with the
quick info text Add to favorite.
The list of favorites can be shown by
choosing the Favorite radio button. It is possible to delete
entries from the favorites list by selecting
with the
quick info text Delete
favorite.
Copy Function
You can copy
existing entity objects to create new entity objects by choosing
with the
quick info text Copy. For detailed information, see

The Object
Details work area shows the
details of the entity object selected in the hit list. You can toggle between
the full-screen view and the search area view by choosing
with the
quick info text Show/Hide Locator. You can use the application toolbar
in the Object Details area for:
● Selecting the business activity that you want to perform.
● Displaying the release history for an entity object.
● Maintaining change objects.
● Managing a list of manual tasks.
● Defining the layout for showing the entity categories and the entity types. For more information, see

The process control framework of Collateral Management has been implemented in the workbench to determine user authorizations for entity objects and business activities.
