Procedure documentationEditing User Parameters Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

  1. Choose System ® User profile ® Own data.

    2. The Maintenance screen appears.

  2. Choose the Parameters tab page.
  3. Make the following settings:

    then enter the following value in the Parameter field

    and enter the following value in the Value field

    Specify a default object type for Personnel Development

    HRPDV_OTYPE

    <Abbreviation of object type>

    Define default object types for finding objects for specific qualifications and requirements

    HRPDV_SEARCH_OTYPES

    <Abbreviations of object types, each 2-characters long without separators>

    Example - for user, person, applicant: < USP AP >

    Display the object key and object abbreviation by default

    POK

    < XX >

  4. Save these user parameters.

Result

The user parameters are saved, and will be used for all future terminal sessions.
