Procedure documentation Creating Measurement Projects As Follow-On Projects Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Use

Using this procedure you can create a measurement project by copying a preceding project.

You can store an enhancement function for this copy process. We supply a user exit for this purpose (IHS_MPCOPY; MP_COPY). For more information about this user exit, see the documentation for its reference function module CBIH_LB61_UE_MP_COPY. For general information about using user exits, see the Implementation Guide (IMG) for Basic Data and Tools under Manage User Exits.

This procedure refers to the copy function as it is included in the standard system.

Prerequisites

The measurement project you want to use as the preceding project must have the status Released. The No Follow-On Meas. indicator must not be set on the log sheets for the work areas to be taken into account when copying.

You have determined the measurement project you want to use as the preceding project as described under Accessing Measurement Management and you are in the hit list.

Procedure

...

       1.      In the navigation area, click the measurement project you want to use as the preceding project.

       2.      Choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text with the quick info text Copy Template.

       3.      In the dialog box that follows, select the required measurement project type, assign a key for the measurement project, and confirm your entries.

If you do not specify a key here, the system assigns one.

       4.      Edit the header data of the measurement project and save your entries.

The system creates the new project and displays it in the navigation area.

Result

The planning data from the preceding project (work areas and agents) was copied to your new project. The agents were marked as relevant for measurement. The preceding project is entered on the Basic Data tab page.

On this basis, you can then edit the planning data and add to it as necessary.
