Master Data 

Purpose

This component forms the basis for all object-related information for representing real estate objects in the system. Master data is divided into two views in which you can process real estate objects in different ways:

       1.      Usage view: commercial and accounting view with fixed master data objects:

¡        Business entity

¡        Land

¡        Building

¡        Rental object:

§         Pooled space

§         Rental space

§         Rental unit

 

Using the usage view is mandatory.

       2.      Architectural view: technical view with master data based on architectural object types that you can define in Customizing.

¡        Building complex

¡        Floor

¡        Part of building

¡        Space (such as parking space, storage space, office space)

¡        Room of a space

 

Using the architectural view is optional.

·        The following additional master data objects are available for the adjustment of conditions:

¡        Comparative group of apartments

¡        Adjustment measure

·        The following additional master data objects are available for the real estate search:

¡        RE search request

¡        Contract offer

·        The following additional master data object is available for third-party management:

¡        Mandate

·        The following additional master data objects are available for land use management (country-specific for Germany):

¡        Parcel

¡        Parcel update

¡        Land register

¡        Joint liability

¡        Notice of assessment

¡        Other public register

This component is the basis for using all other functions of the Flexible Real Estate Management (RE-FX) component.

Dialog Processing

You can change, and in some cases add to, the fields, screens, screen sequences, and so on of master data dialogs. You do so using the Business Data Toolset.
