Initial Page 
First processing screen, which appears immediately after starting the product designer Web application.
You define user-specific settings and find the object whose detail data and relationships you want to display.
The following overview shows how the initial page is structured.

You can also influence the content of the lists by processing in the iPPE workbench. The deletion of objects in the Favorites and Worklist lists is only possible in the iPPE workbench. In the navigation area, below the structure, is the link iPPE workbench.... If you execute this link, the iPPE object is loaded to the iPPE workbench (display mode). Finding objects You can enter various search criteria to find objects. For all selection criteria, you can enter a generic character string (for example, ob*). The maximum number of hits is defined in the settings for the Web user interface. |

In early engineering, documents are very important stores of information. For this reason, you can start a search for documents according to a wide range of criteria on this tab page. |

On this tab page, you see a list of the work items to be executed. These work items describe a task, and contain executable functions. |

You can use the Business Add-In PLM_PDN_WUI (Product Designer Web UI) to change the user interface of the initial page.
The following changes are supported:
- Display additional attributes, texts, and links
- Replace screen areas
- Define workflow data to be displayed
As a result of processing, you see links to objects in the engineering environment. You can display specific information for these objects, and execute special processing functions.
