Use

You create a baseline for a configuration folder.

Prerequisites

You have released the configuration folder for baselining. To do this, place the cursor on the configuration folder and choose Folder ® Release Baselining or This graphic is explained in the accompanying text in the right-hand screen area.

To lock the folder for baselining again, place the cursor on the configuration folder and choose Folder ® Lock Baselining or This graphic is explained in the accompanying text in the right-hand screen area.

Procedure

  1. In the replication workbench, select a configuration folder (This graphic is explained in the accompanying text) by double-clicking on it.

    2. The detail data of the configuration folder is displayed in the right-hand screen area.

  2. Choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text, or in the context menu of the configuration folder Create Baseline, or Folder ® Create ® Create Baseline.
  3. In the Create Baseline dialog box, enter a key and description for the baseline.
  4. Ensure that the For date option is selected, and enter a date.
  5. Choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text.
  6. Save.

Result

The baseline has the status requested (CBRE).

You can start the structure explosion.
